Water & Air Research, Inc. (Water & Air) is dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility through the sharing of knowledge with the people and organizations we serve. Our engineers, biologists, planners, and geologists provide a wide range of services to private and public clients throughout North America. Founded in Florida in 1970, today we employ over 60 persons at our corporate office in Gainesville, Florida. Many members of our staff have worked at Water & Air more than 20 years, providing a longevity that allows us to maintain continuity in our service to clients. Because we are employee-owned and operated, our staff maintain a personal interest in solving our clients' problems. We provide the following services:

Biological Resources: Wetlands Mitigation, Restoration, and Reclamation Planning; Lake, River, and Stream Ecology Studies; Wildlife and Habitat Management Plans; Endangered and Protected Species Services; Plant Community and Animal Population Surveys; Vegetation and Land Use Mapping of Upland and Wetland Systems; Algae and Benthic Macroinvertebrate Services; FDEP Certifications in Lake Condition Index (LCI), Stream Condition Index (SCI), and Bioreconnaissance (Biorecons).

Waste Management: Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; Petroleum Storage Tank Compliance and Closure Requirements; Contamination Assessments; Remediation Action Designs; Remedial Implementation, Monitoring, and Closure.

Air Quality: Air Quality Engineering, Air Quality Evaluations, Source Permits, Indoor Air Assessments, Noise Management.

Water Resources: Water Quality Surveys and Modeling, Lake and River Restoration, Aquifer Performance Testing, and Design of Potable Water Treatment Systems.
