Overview
Water & Air teamed with Pandion Systems, Inc. to prepare the Babcock Ranch Preserve Conceptual Management Plan for the recently acquired 89,000-acre working ranch in Lee and Charlotte Counties, Florida. The complex nature of the proposed management responsibilities in the public-private partnership between the Division of Forestry, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Lee and Charlotte Counties, Babcock Ranch, Inc and Babcock Ranch LLC were detailed.

Results
The conceptual management plan was approved in August 2008 by the Acquisition and Restoration Council to protect the site's environmental, agricultural, cultural and recreational assets for the State of Florida and its citizens.
