The utilities sector encompasses electric, gas or water utilities, or companies that operate as independent producers and/or distributors of power. Telecommunications encompasses not only the traditional areas of local and long-distance telephone service, but also advanced technology-based services including wireless communications, the internet, fiber-optics and satellites. Water & Air has assisted these industries with NEPA compliance, siting of new or expanding infrastructure such as power lines, and fiber optic cables and other environmental permit compliance issues.
